Algis Kemezys is a photographic artist living in Montréal. He has had several internationally exhibited portfolios. His favourite is HOLY COW, a portrait of India from the perspective of the cow, which he photographed during many lengthy visits to the subcontinent. Images from HOLY COW have been published in many newspapers and magazines, including The Times of India, and the Chicago Sun Times, while the show itself has had major showings in the Piramal Gallery in Mumbai, and the O.K. Harris Gallery in New York City. Algis is also a photojournalist, with a specialty in photographing celebrities (from Mother Theresa to Madonna), besides being a multi-media imagist, and web site designer.
